November Is Now Movember: Fundraising for Prostate Cancer

Movember, the annual prostate cancer research charity is back for 2008. All over the world, in order to raise money for cancer research, men will be growing a moustache in November.

‘Mo’ is slang for moustache, and hence, the name. Once you explain the joke to your friends, and that you’ll be growing a moustache, raise funds from them. Offer pictures, write a ‘Mo Log’, do whatever, just raise money. 182,000 men in 2008 will be diagonsed with prostate cancer. Research is badly needed, and with all of the proceeds from Movember going to The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada your ‘stache will help in the fight.

So rev up the metabolism, forget your Gillette for a month, and get ready. Movember will be fast upon us.
