Pico pocket projectorBy nature the gadget is never vital - unless you have the initials J.B. and you’re very particular about martini preparation. Even the word itself sounds like onomatopoeia, evoking the inherent frivolity of a gadget. But that doesn’t matter when you consider another notable gadget quality: awesomeness. Yes, they are so good that we lose all previous knowledge of the English language and we’re forced to make up a word to describe our love for all that is gadget. The only issue we can see with gadgets is trying to find ways to fit them into our day-to-day existence.

Take this new toy that’s getting us really psyched, the Pico Pocket Projector. It’s a portable DLP/LED projector that measures 5.1 by 10.4 by 1.8 centimeters and weighs a mere 120 grams. It can project a screen size of 152 cm on practically any surface. It’s also got a rechargeable battery and a built-in speaker. With all those killer stats only one word comes to mind: awesomeness. As for its usefulness? So far we’ve got: good for party visuals, making your seat-neighbour jealous on a plane when the only movie available stars a talking dog or Reese Witherspoon, and a make-shift drive-in movie theatre in your garage…
