Sharp Tech: Minox Mini Leica Digital Camera

by Jeremy on December 10th, 2009

komamura-leica-m3-mini-replica_1.jpgFor a timeless combination of style and function, there are few better cameras than the Leica M-series. With the death of film, Leica could easily have done what everybody else did and throw their incredible heritage of design into the garbage like so much dead film stock. Luckily for the worlds of photography and design, they recognized the value of what they had and issued a line of digital cameras almost identical to the old ones.

The Minox Mini Leica is one of the newest editions, and definitely one of the most distinct. Small enough to fit easily in the palm of your hand, yet packing a capable 5 megapixels of resolution, it’s a perfect pocket-sized camera. Embracing the digital age is generally a good idea, but it shouldn’t mean leaving the good stuff behind.
