Canada’s first Chipotle Mexican Grill opened August 15th, at 323 Yonge Street, Toronto. The famed American restaurant chain is dedicated to fresh, fast gourment food made with local and organic ingredients. Menu items range from burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads. Pork will be sourced from DuBreton (Quebec), their beef, Beretta Organic Farms (Ontario). 30 percent of the black and pinto beans that Chipotle will be organically grown. All for $8.

Not likely. They’re still in another league. But for a quick lunch break meal, Chipotle is just what we’re looking for.

Movember, the annual prostate cancer research charity is back for 2008. All over the world, in order to raise money for cancer research, men will be growing a moustache in November.

‘Mo’ is slang for moustache, and hence, the name. Once you explain the joke to your friends, and that you’ll be growing a moustache, raise funds from them. Offer pictures, write a ‘Mo Log’, do whatever, just raise money. 182,000 men in 2008 will be diagonsed with prostate cancer. Research is badly needed, and with all of the proceeds from Movember going to The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada your ’stache will help in the fight.

So rev up the metabolism, forget your Gillette for a month, and get ready. Movember will be fast upon us.

Important questions, all. But the question of most importance is: did you have a hockey stick golf putter? David Graham, inventor of the hockey stick golf putter, dreamed up the idea in 2004. He spent the next three years mastering the art and science of putter dynamics. In 2007, the putter was declared fully useable on a golf course. Go ahead, get your Happy Glimore on. You can do so with your favorite team’s logos and colours: you’ve got 24 NHL teams to chose from (Go Habs!) as well as three U.S. college teams.
