The Best and Worst of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards

<b> Best Dressed:</b> Daniel Craig
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> It takes a certain amount of swagger for a man to pull off a pair of shades on the red carpet. But we’re talking about the man who plays James Bond for a living, after all. It’s only natural he’d be our Best Dressed.

<b> The Consistently Sharp Award: </b> George Clooney
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> With a few hiccups along the way (who hasn’t had them), Clooney has established himself as a bonafide modern day Sinatra. Always dapper, always classy. The man can do no wrong.

<b> Best Lapels: </b> Bradley Cooper
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Big, bold lapels have been making a slow comeback into the world of menswear again. To avoid an ‘80s disaster, make sure that everything else is proportional. Remember, balance is key.

<b> Best Use of Velvet: </b> Robert Downey Jr.
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> You can always count on RDJ to bring a little flare to the red carpet. Never one for the conventional look, the man rocked one of the season’s biggest trends, velvet. Risky, but if there's anyone that’s suave enough to do it, it’s him.

<b> Best Arm Candy: </b> Miranda Kerr
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Red dress, plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. Did we forget to mention plunging neckline and thigh-high slit?

<b> Best Fit:</b> Jamie Foxx
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Gentlemen, if it’s one sartorial rule that you should remember, it’s that fit comes first. Too tight and you’ll look like an overeager adolescent, too big and you’ll just look like a bum. Get it right and you’ll have perfection, which is exactly what we have here. We salute you, Jamie.

<b> Worst Fit:</b> Tommy Lee Jones

<b>The Gist:</b> The double-breasted suit is a risky choice that requires an advanced level of style prowess to pull off properly, especially at one of the biggest award shows in the world. Mix an ill-fitting jacket with billowing parachute pants and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. His face says it all.

<b> The “Can’t Believe She’s Lasted This Long” Award: </b> Stacey Kiebler
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Two award seasons under her belt, could she be the one? Maybe not, given Clooney’s track record. But she <i>does</i> always look great, so we can see why he’s holding on to her.

<b> Best Gosling Doppelganger: </b> Adam Shulman
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> From a distance, we could have swore that Ryan Gosling had decided to join in on the festivities. Turns out it was actually Anne Hathaway’s husband. Way to get us excited, Adam.

<b> Best Use of Leg: </b> Heidi Klum
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Remember Angie's right leg at the last Golden Globes? Yeah, neither do we.

<b> Best Facial Hair: </b> Ben Affleck
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> Ah, the grooming award. We had a few tough contenders this year, but Affleck took this one home. Clean and kempt to the tee, this is how you wear facial hair to a black tie event.

<b> Worst Facial Hair: </b> Bill Murray
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> And then we have Bill Murray. Everyone loves the guy, but the same cannot be said with the current situation going on his face. We’re not sure if the handlebar-sideburn-strap look is ever appropriate, awards show or not.

<b> Best Acceptance Speech: </b> Daniel Day Lewis
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> A class act, Daniel Day Lewis was genuinely humble in his speech and landed points for putting a little humour into it as well. Eloquent and sincere, this is how you accept an award, folks.

<b> Best Use of Strategic Placement:</b> Jennifer Lopez
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> J.Lo always gets a standing ovation from us. Miles (and miles and miles) of curves, Lopez is everything we love about women. Not to mention the fact that she knows how to put a damn good outfit together. Sexy in all the right ways.

<b> Best Hair: </b> Max Greenfield
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> A healthy crown of hair can do wonders for a man. Coifed to perfection, <i>New Girl</i>’s Max Greenfield looked ultra sleek.

<b> Best Presenters: </b> Kristen Wiig/ Will Ferrell
<br> </br>
<b>The Gist:</b> The SNL cast pretty much stole the night, proving that award shows can indeed be entertaining! Hands down, the best presenters of the night. The improv was impressive, but then again, these guys are the pros.
