Tracy Morgan Is Alive and Coming to Canada
The whacky funnyman survives a collapse at Sundance 2012, announces a stand-up set in Toronto. By Sharp StaffTracy Morgan seems to be doing fine after his collapse this past weekend at the Sundance Film Festival. In fact, the 30 Rock star and former SNL player is feeling so healthy that he’s announced a performance in Toronto. On March 23rd, the comedian will take the stage at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (formerly known as the Hummingbird Centre) for one night only as part of the Canadian International Comedy Festival. Expect Morgan, who famously played Astronaut Jones on SNL and then a self-parody called Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock, to come armed with his usual antics; physical comedy, a deep voice and tales of unimaginably inebriated exploits. Tickets cost between $35-$65 and are available online at www.sonycentre.ca.
