Everyone is on the micro-blogging site Twitter these days, from President Barack Obama, to the Toronto Raptors’ Chris Bosh, to 90s icon-turned-pastor MC Hammer. If you’re not familiar with Twitter, it’s a blogging site whose entries are limited to 140 words, and they can be updated anywhere via laptop, Blackberry, or iPhone. Once you’ve chosen to follow a Twitter user, you’ll be notified automatically whenever they’ve updated their page (via RSS, Facebook, and plenty of other measures). It’s much more quicker and more concise than blogging, and just like Facebook, it is rapidly becoming a necessity for business, pleasure, and play.

So, along with our web mainstays such as this very blog, SharpTV, and our Facebook group, we’re proud to announce Sharp’s Twitter page. Make sure to add yourself to our Twitter followers list for up-to-the-minute information (‘tweets,’ if you will) from the world of Sharp. Check it out at http://www.twitter.com/sharpmagazine.
