Bang & Olufsen Play Beolit 12
The Danish AV masters raise the bar again with their latest portable sound system. By Xiaoli LiDanish luxe audio guys, Bang & Olufsen, decided CES was the perfect opportunity to show off their new B&O Play Beolit 12, a portable speaker system named after the transistor radios made by B&O in the 60s and 70s. Equipped with an Italian leather carry strap (no doubt one of the many slick touches by Danish designer Cecilie Manz), the Beolit 12 boasts Apple’s AirPlay compatibility, a 120-watt amp, two-inch tweeters, a four-inch woofer and a rechargeable battery that should last up to eight hours. The Beolit 12 should be arriving in B&O showrooms and Apple Stores soon, and you’ll be able to but it online sometime next month.
