Dunhill Biometric Wallet: Like a Safe in Your Pocket

When it comes to wallets, you can put a price on safety. By Greg Hudson

While we’re not exactly sure what irreplaceable things the good people at Dunhill are keeping in their wallets (secret codes for nuclear warheads, maybe), but their collective paranoia about losing them has inspired the creation of a pretty amazing way to carry around your money. The Biometric Wallet will only open with your finger print. It can be attached to your cell phone by Bluetooth so that an alarm will sound if the two are more than five metres apart. And according to Dunhill: “The exterior of the wallet is constructed from highly durable carbon fibre that will resist all but the most concerted effort to open it.” We think that means its only weakness is lasers. [$825]
