While President Barack Obama may have brought classic style back to the White House, we may never be privy to how he selects his wardrobe. Thankfully, the same is not true for Lyndon B. Johnson. In 1964, he needed new slacks. He called the Haggar clothing company for “some of the best pants in America.” They needed a few adjustments though, and since at that time everything in the White House was recorded, we can hear all the details of that anatomically exact conversation. This is how you order pants.
