Where: The parade goes along Rue Sainte Catherine from Rue du Fort to Rue Aylmer. Find the route map here.
When: Sunday, March 18 at 12:00 p.m.
The Gist: A parade may seem a bit obvious, but we’re talking Montréal here—Canada’s first St. Paddy’s parade, held every single year since 1824 despite war, depression and major snowstorms. Downtown bars and pubs offer breakfast (and Irish coffees) to pre-gaming paraders before they take to the town’s streets. The party continues with live music after the soirée.
