The Gist: The Wee Tipple Scotch & Whiskey Festival is Vancouver Island’s annual dramfest. Brands featured will include single malts and blended whiskeys from favourites like Macallan, Highland Park and Stronachie, as well as some from lesser-known brands like Cutty Sark, Amrut and White Owl. Oh, and make sure you’re there for Shelter Point Distillery’s introduction of a new, five-year-old Canadian rye. There will also be vodka, tequila and wine available, but let’s face it—you’re really there for the whiskey.
