Joel Bukiewicz had originally wanted to be a writer, now he supplies blades to the cooking community in New York from his operation Cut Brooklyn. Joel is part of the “made by hand” movement emerging from the BK, a group of dedicated craftsmen who value the human aspect of manufacturing tools in an artistic way. Bukiewicz says that his failure to sell manuscripts led to an urge to make things every day, a desire to produce something tangible.
